Business Manager - Job Description


Purpose and Goal:


To provide, accurate and meaningful financial information to the school administration, Board of Trustees and Archdiocesan Finance Office; and to demonstrate fiscal responsibility to the school community.


Responsible for preparing:

  • Annual budget
  • Annual and monthly financial statements
  • Quarterly reports for the Archdiocese
  • Processing payroll
  • Schedules and reports for annual financial audit
  • Solicit bids and negotiates contracts with vendors, in coordination with the Archdiocesan construction department, for construction and renovation projects
  • Document processes for all accounting systems and cycles
  • Reconciliation of revenue reports related to fundraising and other activities


Responsible for managing:

  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Bank and cash accounts including cash flow projections
  • Tuition assistance awards
  • Administer employee benefit program in coordination with the Human Resources Department of the Archdiocese of Denver
  • Work with the Archdiocese’s Risk Management Department in matters related to Property Insurance Loss and Workers Compensation
  • Promote the efficient use and stewardship of school resources
  • Provide financial guidance and assistance, in school related matters, to the Principal, administration and school personnel


Organizational information:

  • Oversee staff of 5-7
  • Work in conjunction with all other departments
  • Reports to Principal
  • Pay range-50-70 k
  • Start date-June 2017



Director of Technology
Holy Family High School

The Director of Technology provides vision and leadership for developing, implementing and managing information technology (IT) initiatives and functions to enhance teaching, learning, communication and school management. This individual will assist staff members, teachers, and students with specific technology questions. This individual will be proactive in assisting students and faculty in using all technology resources. Candidates must have respect for the teachings of the Catholic Church and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The Director of Technology is a full-time, 12 month annual salaried position. The Director of Technology reports to the Principal and the Assistant Principal for Instruction.

The Director of Technology is responsible for the following areas:

Vision and Direction
-Provide direction in the application of technology related to the school's present and future needs.
-Collaborate with administration, and teachers to provide vision to better utilize technology in the classroom with an outcome of improved teaching and learning.
-Assist the Assistant Principal in the design of professional development programs related to technology
-Collaborate with the Administration to update the School Technology Plan and determine its impact on the technology capital and operating budgets.
-Write grants and scope documents for technical programs, tools or instructional technology.
-Ensure the ethical use of technology.
-Supervises the selection, acquisition, development and installation of major information systems.
-Responsible for producing data reports requested by the Principal.

Technology Management
-Manage and support the Learning Management System, currently PowerSchool and interact with PowerSchool Technical support.
-Manage and support all school owned software programs.
-Serve as first point of contact for hardware, software, phone, printer and network problems.
-Manage and support Network Resources both wired and wireless.
-Manage school owned teacher, staff, and student laptops.
-Utilizes and manages software deployments to install and update software across all users.
-Utilize and manage security software/appliance to protect the IT resources from unauthorized usage.
-Manage content filtering system to meet CIPA and other regulatory compliance.
-Ensures proper data management and complete necessary reporting regarding staff and student records.
-Manages and controls door security, timing, bell system, and security camera system in collaboration with the Assistant Principal and the Deans of Students.
-Setup AV/Computers for Masses, school events, and presentations.

Knowledge and Skills
-Possess an enthusiasm for the Catholic faith, technology and education.
-Previous experience in an education environment or a background or degree in Educational Technology preferred
-Experience supporting a multi-user network including network switches, wireless systems, NAS Security appliances.
-Understands domain controllers and active directory management
-Understands security risks and has experience with content filters
-Able to define problems and implement appropriate solutions
-Ability to work with all levels of school administration in using technology to support the vision for our school
-Ability to effectively communicate with all users - adults and students
-Motivated self-directed individual who thrives working on multiple deadlines and is comfortable prioritizing needs of the organization.
Proven skills in written and verbal communication, negotiating with vendors, contractors, and others, budget preparation and monitoring, planning and organizing.
-Knowledge of all Google Platforms, Microsoft Office, and Systems Management Appliances.

English Teacher

Holy Family High School is currently seeking experienced and qualified candidates for a High School English teacher position for the 2017-2018 school year. A secondary English teaching license is required. The ideal candidate is also experienced in integrating a personalized learning pedagogical style in the English curriculum.

Minimum Qualifications:
*Preference will be given to a Catholic Teacher
*Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in a related field
*Must be certified by the Colorado Department of Education

Math Teacher

Holy Family High School is currently seeking qualified candidates for a High School Mathematics Teacher position for the 2017-2018 school year. Qualified candidates should be able to teach across the mathematics curriculum. The ideal candidate can teach Advanced Placement Statistics and is also experienced in integrating a personalized learning pedagogical style in the mathematics curriculum.

Minimum Qualifications:
*Preference given to Catholic teacher
*Must hold a Bachelor's Degree, some preference for Master's or higher
*Must be certified by the Colorado Department of Education
