Holy Family High School encourages each student to seek a college or university that will challenge him/her intellectually and emotionally. We are primarily concerned that each graduate be admitted to a quality school which will best suit his/her needs.

The college application process can be intense and lengthy. It can also be confusing and anxiety ridden. It is a time when you are asked to evaluate yourself in ways you may not have done before. It is a time when you will be making important life decisions.

College counseling is guidance in preparing for and learning about college, making appropriate college choices, applying for admission and financial aid, deciding among options, and making the transition to college life. It takes place throughout high school.

In making college choices, students are encouraged to seek the greatest challenge, select the best opportunities, explore new horizons, and look for the right "fit".

The decision where to attend college is a personal one. Though the final decision involves your parents, the work involved is YOUR responsibility. While you ultimately make these decisions, remember that there are people ready and willing to assist and guide you.
