College Counselor

Holy Family High School is currently seeking qualified candidates for a College Counselor position for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will have the ability to serve in a student advisement and advocacy capacity in fostering the attainment of student educational goals. 
Qualified candidates should be able to provide college and academic advising, as well as social and emotional support to students in grades 9-12, through the lens of the Catholic

Ideal Candidate will:

  • Write letters of recommendation for students on his/her caseload
  • Provide effective support and guidance to students, parents, and high school staff
  • Effectively manage a caseload of students in grades 11-12, providing a range of counseling services and support, primarily focusing on college counseling.    
  • Be familiar with the college admissions process and college choices.
  • Facilitate meetings with college admissions representatives who visit our campus and organize meetings
  • between college representatives and our scholars.
  • Collaborate on the compilation of an annual Profile of the School, as well as information on grade distributions in junior and senior courses and courses offered at our school.
  • Maintains and disseminates information about standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT.
  • Keeps track of college admissions decisions and statistics.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Preference is given to Catholic candidate
  • Must hold a Bachelor's Degree, some preference for Master’s or higher
  • Experience working as a counselor in a high school setting 
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Master’s degree or other advanced degree preferred
  • 3-5+ years of experience in managing and leading in a high-performing organization.
  • Highly proficient with MS Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong team player, willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

High School Math Teacher

Holy Family High School is currently seeking innovative, experienced, and qualified candidates for a High School Math Teacher position for the 2024-2025 school year. Qualified candidates should be able to teach a variety of courses with the Mathematics Department. The ideal candidate is also experienced in integrating a personalized learning pedagogical style in the Math curriculum.

Minimum Qualifications:
Preference is given to Catholic teacher
Must hold a bachelor’s degree, some preference for Master's or higher
Must be certified by the Colorado Department of Education

Salary Range: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour.
