Full-Time Science Teacher
Holy Family High School is currently seeking innovative, experienced, and qualified candidates for a Full-Time High School Science teaching position for the 2025-2026 school year. Qualified candidates should be able to teach a variety of courses within the Science curriculum.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, some preference for Master’s or higher
- BA/BS in chemistry or related discipline, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Content knowledge is essential

Assistant cheer coach
Reports to: Spirit Director
Employment Type: Part-time/Seasonal (Season runs for 12 months)
Schedule: Nights and weekends required
Position Summary:
Holy Family High School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cheer Coach to work under the direct supervision of the Spirit Director. This individual will lead the cheerleading program in alignment with Catholic values, fostering a positive, disciplined, and faith-driven team culture. The Cheer Coach will be responsible for athlete development, competition preparation, and program success, while ensuring compliance with CHSAA Spirit guidelines, UCA, and NCA rules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and mentor athletes in cheerleading skills, stunting, tumbling, and performance techniques.
- Support and uphold Catholic values in all team activities, ensuring athletes represent the school with integrity and faith.
- Enforce team policies as outlined in the Holy Family Cheer Program Policies.
- Ensure compliance with CHSAA Spirit guidelines, UCA, and NCA rules.
- Develop and execute training programs that enhance skill level and teamwork.
- Prepare the team for competitions at the local, regional, state, and national levels.
- Coordinate with the Spirit Director on scheduling, program needs, and team goals.
- Attend all required games, practices, and competitions, including evenings and weekends.
- Participate in fundraising efforts in collaboration with the Spirit Director and fundraising committee.
- Facilitate monthly team Mass attendance, reinforcing faith-based community engagement.
- Monitor athlete progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to proper safety guidelines in stunting and tumbling.
- Work collaboratively with the Holy Family High School poms team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years coaching experience in competitive cheerleading.
- Strong knowledge of CHSAA Spirit guidelines, UCA, and NCA rules.
- Experience competing at local, regional, state, and national levels.
- Must be USA Cheer Membership Certified.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as required for games, competitions, and events.
- Passion for mentoring student-athletes and fostering a Catholic faith-centered team environment.
- Desire to move into a head coach position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience coaching in a Catholic school environment.
- Experience cheering at all-star/competitive high school program and/or college.
- CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Background in gymnastics, tumbling, or strength training.
