The aim of the science curriculum is to develop student awareness, knowledge and appreciation of the world around them, by encouraging critical thinking and analytical problem solving skills using the scientific method, and to develop an understanding of the physical and biological realms as they apply to science and daily life. These curricular tasks are undertaken in the framework of Catholic Church teachings, and in accordance with Archdiocesan Science Standards.

- To use the approved Scientific Method for problem solving and investigations.
- To explain scientific findings using both oral and written expression.
- To excel in the mastery of Archdiocesan Science Standards.
