Theater

The theater program at Holy Family ignites passion in our students, in all aspects of the theater arts.

Whether a novice or a veteran to the stage, students are able to hone their performing technique as they engage, collaborate, and enhance their imaginations. The only prerequisites are open-mindedness and a willingness to try. The program presents two theatric productions each school year – a fall play and a spring musical.

Students work in the recently renovated theater which is the central gathering space for rehearsals and performances. All students are encouraged to participate, either as actors, or as members of the technical crew, building the sets, costumes, and props for the musical or play. There are also opportunities to compete, direct, and earn college scholarships as our students attend the annual Colorado State Thespian Conference.

Our faculty also love getting involved in the theater program. In addition to our talented Theater Director, Rebecca Barger, many faculty members volunteer their time and talents.

Students interested in theater are nurtured here, and many have performed in or worked on every production during their years as a student. Involved students develop a love and respect for theater that lasts long after they graduate.
