Through Holy Family's partner Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs), Seeds of Hope and ACE Scholarships, donors can help make a Holy Family education more accessible to students and families seeking a faith-filled, academically excellent experience.

When making a qualifying contribution, donors may designate Holy Family High School as their school of choice, helping direct scholarship support directly to Holy Family students and families.

Unlike a tax deduction, a tax credit directly reduces the amount of federal income tax owed. Eligible taxpayers from any state may participate meaning grandparents, alumni, parents, and friends of Holy Family across the country can support Catholic education through this program.

HOW IT WORKS

Four Simple Steps

  • Make a Contribution
        Donate to an approved SGOs, Seeds of Hope or ACE Scholarships, and designate Holy Family High School as your school of choice.

  • SGO Awards Scholarships
         The SGO awards scholarships to eligible students and families attending Catholic schools, including Holy Family.

  • Claim Your Tax Credit
              Claim the Education Freedom Tax Credit when filing your federal return, subject to program requirements and your individual tax  situation.

  • Reduce Your Federal Tax Bill
         Support Catholic education while potentially reducing your federal tax liability dollar-for-dollar, up to $1,700.

 

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

To qualify for the credit, contributions must be made through an approved Scholarship Granting Organization and cannot be designated for a specific student or family. Donors may, however, designate Holy Family High School as the school they wish to support.

Colorado has opted into the federal program, and additional implementation guidance is expected before the program launches in 2027. Holy Family will continue to share updates and participation details as more information becomes available.
