8:00 a.m.: Graduates arrive in the Aux Gym for their professional LifeTouch photo
8:15 a.m.: Graduate LifeTouch photos begin
9:30 a.m.: Graduates line up in the Aux Gym
9:40 a.m.: Graduates procession to the stadium
(All Guests are asked to be seated by 9:40 a.m.)
10:00 a.m.: Commencement Ceremony
*Graduates will return to the Commons after the Commencement Ceremony to pick up their diplomas.
*Graduation ceremony will take place outside at Michael G. Gabriel Stadium rain or shine.
Required Dress
Boys: Long dress pants, dress shirt, dress shoes, and must be clean-shaven.
Girls: Dress, skirt or dress pants, blouse, dress shoes
All: Graduation Gown and Cap
- Nothing is to be worn on the outside of the cap or gown. Unless provided by Holy Family High School (Honors Cords and Stoles).
- Nothing is to be carried during the processional or for the ceremony.
- Hair is expected to be well-groomed and neat.
- Dress appropriately for the weather under your gowns.
Personal Appearance
Graduates are expected to be neat, well-groomed, and dressed modestly and appropriately. Extraordinary attire is prohibited, including hairstyles, hair colorings, and head shaving.
Boys' facial hair must be clean-shaven. Visible facial piercings other than ears are not permissible, and visible tattoos and other body modifications are not acceptable. No flip-flops, athletic/tennis shoes, slippers, ballet slippers, boots, etc., are to be worn as dress shoes. The administration reserves the right to remove a student from participating in the ceremony.
Guest Seating
There is plenty of seating on the field and in the stadium bleachers; however, if you prefer not to sit in the bleachers, you are welcome to bring your own folding chairs and sit in the tiered area of the stadium.
Live Stream
The event will be live-streamed on Holy Family's YouTube channel. As the event approaches, a direct link will be distributed.
Graduation Photos
We are working with LifeTouch for graduation photos. Each graduate will have a photograph taken by LifeTouch as he or she receives the diploma. All Portraits & Photos can be ordered at Holy Family's LifeTouch site.
